Baryshna

In 2007, we are planning a breeding to Raffaello (16.3 H gray Hanoverian), standing at Synery Sport Horses, Langley, BC. Raffaello is an imported stallion, placing 4^th in his jumping component of his stallion test in Neustadt of 37 horses. He is sired by the notable stallion Rapheal (sire of Rio Grande), out of a mare by former Spruce Meadows stallion Foxhunter. Raffaello scored 9’s for temperament, willingness to work, ability to work, character, and jumping. He is selected as a Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program stallion.

St.Pr.St. Baryshna “Bea”

Bred in Germany, Bea was imported to Canada by Kristal Farm, Ste.Justine de Newton, Quebec. She passed her mare performance test at 5 with an overall score of 8 (receiving 9 for rideability), achieving her Staatspremiestute (State Premium Mare) designation. Baryshna is in the Main Studbook for the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society of North America.

By Baryshnikov (1986), chestnut Hanoverian Verband stallion, 1^st place Dressage (146) and 5^th overall at his stallion test in Adelheisdorf in 1989. By Bolero, a top class foundation Hanoverian sire noted for passing on his endless nobility and rhythmic motions. He produced many federal championship winners, top Verden auction horses, and numerous approved sons including Bretano II, Buenos Aires, Bretano I, Bon Bonaparte and Baryshnikov.

Out of Lemons Lady by Lemon Tree, Champion of the 1987 Stallion Licensing and winner in his stallion performance test the next year. Lemon Tree died at a young age with only a limited number of offspring to carry on his great qualities.
