Ladies Royale Lou

1990 Clydesdale mare  16.3 H bay

 

Ladies Royale Lou “Lou”

 

Lou was born and bred on the farm.  She  has been  a wonderful producer for us, with both purebred stallions and crossing on thoroughbred stallions.

By Nova Thunder Royale, 18.2 H dark bay Clydesdale stallion.  Thunder (now deceased) stood at stud in Windsor, NS, owned by Leon Taylor.  He was a tall modern type Clydesdale with good frame, length of leg, good feather, and desirable colouring.

Out of  Belleau Ladies Joy, 16.3 H bay Clydesdale.

2^nd dam

Belleau Silver Belle by Grand Champion Clydesdale Stallion, Royal Winter Fair 1967, Dunsyre Silver King.

She has produced a number of foals, both purebred and thoroughbred crosses;

Jocks Royale Brooke, 1997 Clydesdale mare by Clarecroft Jock,

Buster, 1998 Clydesdale gelding by Doura Medallion,

Bentley, 1999 Clydesdale gelding by a Terrytime stallion,

Havana II, 2001 Thoroughbred cross mare by Morden Sunrise,

Chester, 2003 Thoroughbred cross gelding by Morden Sunrise,

& Roman O, 2006 Thoroughbred cross colt by Morden Sunrise.
