Regarding Henry “Henry”
Henry is a “lovely” medium pony gelding who loves attention and has an “outstanding” temperament. He exhibits wonderful movement and should mature into a fantastic future hunter pony. He currently has all basic groundwork (courtesy of Mrs. Mary Henry!) including long-lining, carrying kids and his first ride in the tack. Henry is in training at Long Lane Farm. Henry was presented at the American Sportpony Inspection in Windsor in August and received a First Premium score with a 7.9! Tied for the second highest score of the 25 ponies presentd! By Bantry Bay’s Aengus (Donnie), 14.1 H gray Connemara and First Premium ASPR stallion. Donnie has been a very successful sire, producing event and hunter ponies which have shown and won in the Maritimes & Ontario (Strike A Pose, Annabelle). Donnie’s dam is by the Connemara stallion Hideaway’s Erin Smithereen, sire of the famous eventing champion Hideaway’s Erin Go Bragh (winningest stallion in the history of the United States Combined Training Association at the time of his retiring in 1999).
